Existing Switchgear Infrastructure ( If applicable )
a)
To what extent does the existing electrical infrastructure determine the possibilities?
b)
Can critical and non-critical circuits be grouped together in busbar banks to facilitate automatic shedding/reinstatement?
c)
Is automatic sequenced shedding/reinstatement of non-essential and secondary maintained loads desirable/feasible in context of existing switchgear?
Supply size,connected load,Generator size
What percentage mains cover will gen-set provide?
How does above relate to existing connected load?
Will anticipated future loads fit into critical category?
d)
Does current rating of c/o device take account of expansion?
Maintainability
If 4 pole changeover contactors employed ( i.e. in 200-630 Amp range ), is maintenance bypass switching required (e.g. for coil-change).
If 4 pole motorised moulded case circuit breakers employed ( i.e. in 600-1200 Amp range), are plug-in withdrawable devices considered necessary?
If 4 pole motorised Air Circuit Breakers employed ( i.e. 800-4000 Amp range ) is a stand-by ACB moving portion/ACB withdrawal lift truck required?
